Book Review: Step Lively: New York City Tales of Love and Change by Sherri Moshman-Paganos

From the author’s personal experiences to all her recollections from the 1980s, you get to explore a unique perspective on life, relationships, writing, loneliness, and more. The author has a distinct style of capturing the essence of New York in her stories. With each story, we gain a greater understanding of the author and her dreams to live in Manhattan.

These diverse tales are appealing. I liked how she gently transforms the city into her own, discovering the best spots and weird occurrences, as well as including quotable quotes and pictures in the book loaded with precise and quirky observations of the city.

With an insightful choice of words, the author writes from the heart.
