Book Review: The Billionaire Needs A Bodyguard

Perfect Blend of Romance and Mystery

Alexandra “Lex” Granger is a private security consultant who has to go undercover to protect billionaire businessman Michael Thornton, pretending to be an escort. Michael does not think he needs a bodyguard, despite the death threats he has received from protesters against his takeover of a Danish company, but he does need protection against the predatory wife of the Danish ambassador. Lex knows that this assignment is dangerous, made more so because her client does not even know that he is being protected.

Interesting book and well narrated.

Captivating story with tricky situations and mastermind techniques.

The witty Plot development in finding loopholes and hidden clues to the mystery about the unknown truth.

The author has portrayed each and every character with the utmost significance of their own and every one of them has done justice to their respective roles throughout the story and knitted together – the secrets, revelations, strategies, twists and turns, negotiations, confusions, tiffs, bitter truths, and petrifying moments in a beautiful way with a whole lot of depth which will leave you puzzled.

Both sides of the story told to make the readers understand the feelings and emotions which the protagonists go through. Cute moments in the last chapter make you go Awww…

Misunderstandings, bitterness, jealousy, love, pain, hurt, desires, inner conflict, self-respect, and disappointments are beautifully portrayed. I loved the thoughtfulness of Callie and the verbal brawl between Sasha and Ivana.

You can feel the eagerness and excitement while reading and how the mystery unfolds is mesmerizing.
